Temecula is known for its growing suburban neighborhoods, master-planned communities, and family homes built primarily between the 1990s and early 2000s as Southwest Riverside County experienced rapid expansion. While many Temecula homes offer newer construction compared to older parts of Southern California, the plumbing systems installed during this building boom are now reaching the age where problems begin to appear.
Temecula's 1990s–2000s tract homes — including communities in Redhawk, Wolf Creek, and Harveston — were built with Type M copper now at or past its 15–30 year lifespan. If your home was built during this era, evaluation is strongly recommended.

A large number of homes in Temecula were originally built using Type M copper piping, which was widely used in residential construction during the 1990s–2000s development rush. As these systems age in Temecula's moderately hard water conditions, the thinner wall of Type M copper develops pinhole leaks and internal corrosion. Many Temecula homeowners are now experiencing their first major plumbing failures — leaks that signal the entire system is failing, not just one section.
Temecula's rapid growth era homes are hitting their plumbing end-of-life simultaneously. Don't wait for a major failure — get ahead of it with a full repipe.

Most Popular
The modern standard for whole-home repiping. Flexible, durable, and backed by the strongest manufacturer warranty in the industry.

Traditional Option
The tried-and-true choice. Rigid, thick-walled copper that has delivered 50+ years of service in homes across the country.

From the 1970s through the 2000s, most homes in Riverside County were built using Type M copper — the builder-grade, budget minimum allowed by California code. Type M has the thinnest wall of any copper pipe grade.
In Riverside County's hard water conditions, mineral deposits aggressively attack the inside of Type M pipes. The thin walls deteriorate faster than Type L or Type K — often within 20–30 years rather than 40–50. Pinhole leaks, slab leaks, and sudden burst pipes are the most common failures.
When we repipe your Temecula home, we replace all Type M copper with either PEX-A (our primary recommendation) or Type L copper — never Type M.
Inland Empire pricing is generally competitive. Larger tract homes and two-story builds can increase cost.
All prices include permits, patching, cleanup, and a lifetime workmanship warranty.
