San Bernardino is the county seat of San Bernardino County and one of the largest cities in the Inland Empire. The city has a wide range of residential architecture, from historic downtown neighborhoods with homes built in the early 1900s to post-war developments and newer suburban tracts throughout the region.
San Bernardino's hard water dramatically shortens pipe lifespan. Homes built before 1980 are at high risk regardless of pipe material, due to the region's extreme water conditions.

San Bernardino is known for having some of the hardest water in Southern California. The city's water supply carries very high mineral content that aggressively attacks pipe interiors. Combined with the age of many San Bernardino homes — many of which have original galvanized or early copper plumbing — the result is widespread system failure throughout the city's established neighborhoods.
We serve San Bernardino with experienced crews and all-inclusive service. One day, water back on before we leave.

Most Popular
The modern standard for whole-home repiping. Flexible, durable, and backed by the strongest manufacturer warranty in the industry.

Traditional Option
The tried-and-true choice. Rigid, thick-walled copper that has delivered 50+ years of service in homes across the country.

From the 1970s through the 2000s, most homes in San Bernardino County were built using Type M copper — the builder-grade, budget minimum allowed by California code. Type M has the thinnest wall of any copper pipe grade.
In San Bernardino County's hard water conditions, mineral deposits aggressively attack the inside of Type M pipes. The thin walls deteriorate faster than Type L or Type K — often within 20–30 years rather than 40–50. Pinhole leaks, slab leaks, and sudden burst pipes are the most common failures.
When we repipe your San Bernardino home, we replace all Type M copper with either PEX-A (our primary recommendation) or Type L copper — never Type M.
Inland Empire pricing with wide variation based on home size and layout.
