Repipe Specialists in
Murrieta, CA

Murrieta is one of the fastest-growing cities in Riverside County, with a large stock of suburban homes built primarily from the late 1980s through the 2010s. Like neighboring Temecula, Murrieta experienced explosive residential growth during the period when Type M copper was the standard for new home construction.

Murrieta's 1990s–2000s master-planned community homes are entering the peak failure zone for Type M copper. If your home is in this era, proactive evaluation can prevent a major leak.

Why Murrieta Homes Need Attention

Trusted Home Repiping in Murrieta

Murrieta's homes are hitting a critical age threshold. Properties built in the 1990s–2000s — which make up the majority of Murrieta's housing — have Type M copper plumbing now 15–30 years old and showing the signs of accelerated aging. Riverside County's moderately hard water has shortened the lifespan of these systems, and pinhole leaks are increasingly common throughout the city's established neighborhoods.

We serve Murrieta and the Southwest Riverside County area — fast scheduling, all-inclusive service, one day.

Common Signs Your Murrieta Home Needs a Repipe:
  • •Low or declining water pressure
  • •Discolored or rust-colored water
  • •Pinhole leaks or recurring repairs

Type M, Type L, and Type K copper pipes comparison

The Type M Copper Problem in Riverside County

From the 1970s through the 2000s, most homes in Riverside County were built using Type M copper — the builder-grade, budget minimum allowed by California code. Type M has the thinnest wall of any copper pipe grade.

In Riverside County's hard water conditions, mineral deposits aggressively attack the inside of Type M pipes. The thin walls deteriorate faster than Type L or Type K — often within 20–30 years rather than 40–50. Pinhole leaks, slab leaks, and sudden burst pipes are the most common failures.

Type K Copper
Wall Thickness: Thickest
Industrial / Commercial
Type L Copper
Wall Thickness: Medium
Premium Residential (what we install)
Type M Copper
Wall Thickness: Thinnest
Builder-Grade Residential (most OC / IE homes)

When we repipe your Murrieta home, we replace all Type M copper with either PEX-A (our primary recommendation) or Type L copper — never Type M.
