Anaheim is home to a mix of mid-century ranch homes, suburban developments, and newer residential communities, with many properties built between the 1950s and the early 2000s. Large parts of Anaheim experienced major housing growth during the post-war boom, and many of those homes still rely on the original plumbing systems installed decades ago. While these homes remain structurally sound, aging copper or outdated galvanized piping often begins to fail after years of use.
Anaheim homes built in the 1950s–1970s typically have original galvanized or early copper piping. Homes from the 1990s in tract developments often have Type M copper reaching end-of-life.

Because Anaheim homes often experience hard water conditions common throughout Orange County, mineral buildup inside pipes is a frequent issue. Calcium and sediment gradually accumulate within water lines, slowly restricting flow and placing additional stress on the plumbing system. Homeowners may begin noticing declining water pressure, discolored water, or small pinhole leaks that appear unexpectedly in older copper lines. Repeated repairs often become more costly than replacing the system entirely.
A full repipe in Anaheim replaces all aging water lines at once, eliminating recurring leaks and restoring strong, consistent water flow throughout your home.

Most Popular
The modern standard for whole-home repiping. Flexible, durable, and backed by the strongest manufacturer warranty in the industry.

Traditional Option
The tried-and-true choice. Rigid, thick-walled copper that has delivered 50+ years of service in homes across the country.

From the 1970s through the 2000s, most homes in Orange County were built using Type M copper — the builder-grade, budget minimum allowed by California code. Type M has the thinnest wall of any copper pipe grade.
In Orange County's hard water conditions, mineral deposits aggressively attack the inside of Type M pipes. The thin walls deteriorate faster than Type L or Type K — often within 20–30 years rather than 40–50. Pinhole leaks, slab leaks, and sudden burst pipes are the most common failures.
When we repipe your Anaheim home, we replace all Type M copper with either PEX-A (our primary recommendation) or Type L copper — never Type M.
Orange County homes vary from 1950s ranch-style to newer master-planned community builds. Larger homes and two-story layouts increase cost.
All prices include permits, patching, cleanup, and a lifetime workmanship warranty.
